For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 | We were told that Stewart Warner made an electrical gas guage that can mount to the top of the gas tank in a 3100? It suppose to be more accurate and the gauge would be hidden from view and not hanging under the dash like a wart. As we understand it the original sending units are not accurate and people have become frustrated with this inaccuracy. Sounds like a good idea? We have no sending unit in the tank and we have 6-12 volt conversion so it was suggested that this was a way to go? I'm not crawling under the dash, I'm too dang old! Right now we shake and listen and keep a log. Thanks Steve | | |
