thanks everyone for the information. not sure whether i'll make an offer on the truck i mentioned but the information will be useful regardless.
and smugmug thanks for the pictures, very helpfull. i guess i don't have to worry so much about frame swaps etc since there is no way to track it as long as the frame is the proper application for the year cab. to be honest i am used to fords (have a 63 f250 4x4 stepside) and they have both frame and door matching vin so people like me are a little anal about the numbers matching up. i like any brand of old american made truck though so - gotta get a chevy or gmc. god forbid i might even snag a dodge sooner or later.
