| | | | Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 323 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 323 | I think you are asking if you can put a 2hp motor on a 1hp single stage compressor. as long as it is the right speed I can't see why not.But just to be clear don't put a two stage compressor on a single stage tank.It wont handle the pressure.The tanks are different.Steel vs cast iron. so be careful and read the ratings on the equipment.
