I have a spare 1404 Edelbrock 500 cfm that I was thinking about using to replace the stock carb on my 292. I was going to buy an Offy intake to put it on since it appears the "web consensus" is that the Offy is more well behaved on the street than the Clifford. Does anyone have any experience using the Edelbrock on a 292, 250, or 261? Thanks.
