Actually, I am thinking of using the whole bus frame now, I could use the original Chevy front end for a restoration later. I just about have to use the school bus rear end for the right ratio and since my semi uses the same 22.5s the buses have anyway it would only makse since to use it, plus I like airbrakes anyway. If I set the body up a bit it appears the tires have room in the front fenders, yea, its a bit wide but I think it will work. I am really wanting a truck that looks nice enough to go to a show yet will last me the rest of my life. Pulling a big load with a pickup is not much fun and its safer when pulled with something with more feet on the ground. I just can't see any reason why it won't work other than now that I am wanting to buy a bus there doesn't seem to be any close.
