I am in the process of cleaning up my motor compartment and all that is within it. Have already stripped and repainted the motor, new fuel pump, wiring, alternator...etc. I took off my exhaust due rust and lots of holes in the pipe. I then took off my manifold and cleaned and painted. I want to put on a dual exhaust system...but I want to keep the original intake manifold. The truck has a Rochester single barrel..but after reading alot of posts...I don't want any leaking or problems after spending months cleaning the motor area.
I don't know squat about carbs...
I do know that I want a daily driver no speed demon... I don't want Dual Carbs....

I live in the Santa Cruz Mtns. So thats my terrain. I want it to work good with the dual exhaust also. I will be using the stock choke cable and would like to have the Throttle cable hook up...since it's on my dash...if I can't I'll just have a dummy knob.

Any and all opinions welcome.
ps..I don't want to spend a fortune either.

Thanks Guys
