When i dismantled the bed off the truck the bed angle rails (that set on top of the wood bed) were basically gone and rusted away.

however what did remain was enough to show me that the had been spot welded in place.

I'm wanting to buy some new black steel bed angle strips and re-weld these to the side panels before paint...just gotta make sure they are at the right elevation to set on top of the wood bed once installed.

Does anyone have a dimension regarding placement of these?
