any info out there from folks who have set(we'll say preset)the rake on the frame?
The truck is setting there bare with nothing but the cab, and the existing rear.
I will be welding in the IFS this weekend and setting the 350 down on the front end. to gain actual ride height on the front.
once this is done I want to drop the existing rear end and make ready for the 9inch. Point is I'd like to build to the rear end (setting on rubber) and set the appropriate rake...on the frame.
of course taking into account for eventual bed weight, gas tank (approx 20 gal) and spring compression to bring me to a final 3 to 5 deg rise.
