#72590 02/01/2007 2:13 PM | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 37 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 37 | 400 SBC flex plate will not fit on a 87 TBI motor.TBI motor is a one piece rear main seal and a 400 was two piece rear main seal. The flex-plate maybe installed with the wrong bolts.
