I went through color books at the paint supply to find a color I liked. My 51 3100 I owned back in my 20s was Forester Green but I wanted a green that didn't show its age so much. I picked a mid 90s Ford pickup metallic green. I then had black added to that color to make the fenders and running boards a darker green that was a blend to the cab hood and bed color.
