Marc,the rear glass certainly sounds like it installs in the same manner as the front windshields.
That is the glass is slightly larger than the aperature.
Hence the 'S' section seal.
As Patrick (pplumber) says it should be a fairly straight forward install.
Is the window tempered or laminated?
It's easy to tell by looking at the edges.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance but Clamshell 'burbs are like hen's teeth,even more so here and I have no references to work with.
