I think your B pillar looks fine, does it work with your neww rocker? If so, I wouldn't worry about it. I really think the problem is that the cab floor brace is just a porly made part. One thing I have found is that the replacement panels are really not the same as teh original parts. Better than fabricating from a piece of flat sheet steel, though! I have had to modify/mess with every single piece...
