Who ever has done this swap, I need some info/help.My 235 is toast, so I have an opportunity to get a 250 I6 from my uncle. He says its from a 67 El Camino (not sure),and it turns freely.My question is how are the side mounts installed? Front motor mount also? Will THIS engine fit in my truck without major mods...firewall..ect..Is this swap even doable?.1949 Chevy 1/2 ton.Thanks.
