| | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 | I've been running the inexpensive Mr. Gasket adjustable pressure regulator on my dual carb 235 set at 3-1/2 psi for the past 13,000 miles. These can be found in most automotive parts stores for around $30.00, complete with the fittings to tie into your line between the fuel pump and carb. I have a pressure gauge and have found that adding a filter between the regulator and the carb drops your pressure an additional 1 psi. If you didn't want to go to the expense of adding a fuel gauge you would be safe to run between a 3 to 4-1/2 psi setting on the dial.
There is another brand that looks like the Mr. Gasket regulator but I've had issues with that brand. None with the Mr. Gasket brand. Hope this helps you get your fuel pressure under control.
