#72278 01/27/2007 6:54 AM | Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 608 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 608 | Freds, Yes you can use the old shaft BUT its gonna need to be cut shorter cause the Powerglide is Longer overall than the original 3speed box. Also,You will need to change out the front yoke on your driveshaft from the current "coarse" spline slip yoke to a fine spline to match the powerglide output shafts fine teeth.
