| | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 145 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 145 | On the 216 engine that is in my 46 there is a fair bit of wear on the starter side of the ring gear,I would say 20% of the tooth has been worn back. I did take a photo but it is too blurry to see. After looking at the one on the 235 I have this wear seems excessive.Any suggestions as to a cause or could it be normal . Thanks | | |
