Pull the dist. cap off & turn the motor till the rotor gets close to where the #1 or #6 terminal position is on the cap & then start feeling with your finger thru the hole as you bar it slowly around. It'll be somewhere within just a few degrees of there. You'll feel the ball easier than see it until you find it & get it cleaned up there. Doug
