OK, Got it done! The secret is to assure that the weatherstrip channel is sufficiently opened where previously crimped, use lots of dishwashing liquid (straight, not diluted)on both the channel and the weatherstripping, and most imprortantly getting some help. If you are real careful at the point of entry and keeping your hands on the top to insure that it stays in while moving it about 2" at a time. "Patience is a virtue" Doing it alone is a frustrating experience.
