Thanks to for all the suggestions. The glove box door on my '40 has a curved face matching the dashboard, which makes a flat faced clock a little difficult to make look good. I will keep my eyes peeled for '37 - '40 cars to see if they are interchangable. It seems GM used stuff on cars a few years before they showed up on trucks - guess they were using up old stock *g*
