| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 | When I restored my 1935 Chevy Coupe I used Weldwood Contact Cement to glue the running board rubber to the backing plate. I followed the instructions on the can, put a thin coat on both pieces and they are still attached looking as good as new 30 years later! Mike B  | | |
