1. I got "conical" springs and J hooks in my brake hold down kit, but can't see where they go on a 1950 1/2 ton chevy. Looks like they are for an earlier year. Is that correct?
2. I only found the parking brake shoe lever and strut on the driver side. Was there not one on the other side for 1950? Also the entry hole for the cable on the passenger side seems backwards - faces rearward.
Any help appreciated.
Restoring 1950, 5 window, 1/2 ton, in family since new. Never done one before.
