Changing the ratio in a '40 1 1/2 ton rear end. Finally got through the pinion switch. Not quick and easy. Now the bolts are out of the ring gear and it appears that it won't come off without some heat like a flywheel ring gear. Could really use some advise from someone who has done this before.
