The bolt pattern did not change, but the wheel backspacing did, as well as the mentioned hub center bore. The later wheel will not work, as it will rub, possibly hard enough to not allow the truck to move with it on.
Fix a flat will no seal a rim or stem leak. Most times, it won't seal a puncture either. Also, most tire shops will not repair a tire that has had fix a flat put in it.
