I have a 63' 327 with the original road draft setup for the oil- with the breather cap on the filler neck on the front of the intake manifold. i have been looking around at a new intake manifold and the ones that i like the most do not have the hole for that filler neck/ breather cap. i replaced the old valve covers with new ones that have a breather cap on each one; would that be about the equivalent as the one on the front of the manifold? or will the new manifold still need some kind of vent in it? i know that air from the valley travels through the valve covers via the oblong push rod holes, so it makes sense to me that it should still function properly with the venting in the valve covers instead of the manifold. . . .right? o_0
