Regarding your rearend, pull the pumpkin cover and count the teeth on the ring gear and the pinion gear...divide the big number by the small number and the result will tell you the ratio. Measure the outside diameter of the ring gear for an indication of the rearend model you have. Also, measure from the outside of one lug, to the center of the third lug, to determine the bolt circle...for example 5 on 5 or 5 on 5-1/2 or 5 on 5-3/4. This information will tell you alot about the rearend you currently have.
