Uncleb is right! The gear ratio in your truck was very low, probably in the "5's". This means you will probably cruise at 45 mph.
I think the 3/4's were in the mid 4's like about 4.55.
A lot depends on your future use plans for the panel truck.
tdplbg,I have a 3600 3/4ton,I just replaced the rearend to an S10 4WD w/373gears posi trac. The original gears were 5:14,and the previous owner change the pig to 4:56gears.If you weren't so far away,I would let have the whole rearend at reasonable offer.
