Davy, I'm in Northern California also and have a '36 Chevy pickup. It is the "High cab" early '36 that has the same cab as your '34.
Do you have a picture of the trans that you posted about? My email is
[email protected]. I can compare it to the 3-speed in my '36. The 3-speed that fits our pickups was used in many '32-'36 Chevy vehicles.
