It looks like it has had some restoration work done to it already, the frame paint and axles looks way too nice not to have been redone at sometime.

If I were close enough I would buy it to save it from being scrapped, and I have no real interest in that vintage....you should for sure be able to get more selling it than you could get for scrap. Just don't ask $3000 for it when scrap will bring $500. Figure out what it weighs and asks 20% more than scrap value and I would think you should still get a quick sale along with making more and saving effort.
