| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 171 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 171 | lower grade nut & higher grade bolt is correct. that way the nut (which is easier to replace) strips before the wheel stud. the flanges on the newer style nuts would perform the same task as the ring that's probably under your lug nuts now. I don't think one way would be any better than the other, it would just depend on what you like & what you want. | | |
