I asked because I need to position the tailpipes as I build my exhaust. I promise to leave some wiggle room. I've actually considered just welding up my own brackets, since I already have the "spring-bows" that bolt on attached to the bumper, and only need the "hanger" parts of the bracket system. If I could buy just the hangers, I'd be a lot more interested in a set of new or not-so-new brackets. The pricing I've seen on complete bracket sets just seems a little high to me, especially considering that I only need about half of a set. I guess it's the Scot in me . . .
Jeff - I took a look at your truck here on Stovebolt as well, and you mentioned that you had auxiliary springs. I've only ever seen those on a '37 GMC I once looked to buy as a parts vehicle. I didn't buy it, but the springs looked like they'd make the truck more like a 3/4 ton. I bet that setup is pretty rare.
