After blowing up my original '37 3spd I pieced together a replacement transmission. I'm ready to reinstall but was wondering if there was anything I should add to the gear oil?
I know that engines use additives like zink for break-in and posi-differentials benefit from additives beyond what you get with gear oil, but what about transmissions?
