yes, that is how it is supposed to work. This is my first complete paint job from bare steel, so I was following what the tech sheet said and it said to wet sand the 2k with 400 grit prior to sealing or 600 prior to top coat. I was hoping not to have to re-apply the 2k primer but with my deep pits i have to. Thanks czechman for the info, i sanded with 180 dry today and it leveled things up nicely. I'll spray more tomorrow then wet sand with 400 or maybe 600 if there are still scratches.
