Seems to be a run on old rebuilds sittin around. It's been too long since I worked on a 350 but I would be looking for an external spot in the oil passages to plumb in and prelube the engine. If the engine is in a vehicle you could tow it around until oil pressure was up before you run it. Prelube is better.
