I have: 350 turbo tranny 1969--1981 3 speed automatic W/ tork converter ---the oil pan has one corner at rear "cut off" Info said it was right side but my notes say it's on the left (driver's side). Anyway one cross member was cut off and one moved so this tranny could be put in. Info stated that there was also a TH350-C made that had an elec. plug on left side for lock-up converter. Shouldnt there be an elec wire going from that plug, but where to?? Also there was mention of a modulator on right side-what does that do? There is a part on right side with a cap set up that looks like the old master cyl. top. Engine is a 350 from between 1968 and ??? with new edelbrock carb.,headers etc. I've tried everything I know to get rid of a back fire (popping) problem at 45 or 50mph or when I excelerate. Set timing at 10, 8, 4, and 13 degrees btdc. now it's back where it was at 12 degrees put in a higher octane gas. Took off distributor cap - could not move the diaphram arm. Might not be doing it right. Dont know how to put pictures on here yet. Appreciate any info. | | |
