The Deerslayer springs aren't flipped, Drew. Before the break, they were almost flat in appearance. Now, because of the break, there is only about an inch between the rubber snub bumper and the bottom of the frame.
Like you say, that batwing chevy is not 'xactly my cup of tea but it is well crafted.
