I've been poking around looking for a solid state regulator that could be either adapted to work or was a direct replacement for the one in my truck. I'm gettin tired of nuking my jenny every year & a half, not to mention what it costs to have it repaired,...

Upon doing some research I see that Delco Remy started making transistor regulators in 1958. I also found this regulator on eBay that looks exactly like the analog regulator I have in my truck now. I'm not springing 400 bones for that one (WHAT is that guy thinking?), so I'm curious if any of you electronics gurus out there have a book with numbers in it. Maybe I can find a modern replacement if I can get some old part numbers.

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
