Spanky, they list it as a Truxmore drag axle. It is probably a older than the truck. But I think you might be right that it is a Dayton adapter. However, I know of no way of figuring out what kind of hub was used on that square axle other than measuring the bolt circle. As far as that goes, I don't see any lug nuts where it would be bolted to the original hub.
