There is a rubber surround on the back of the stock horn button on the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC standard steering wheels, which secures it on the wheel cup, via a "friction-fit". It can simply be pulled off, without damage to the rubber ring, horn button or wheel cup. When installing, a little WD-40 or dielectric grease will ease the process of replacing it or removing it in the future.
