Yes,the B/C makes perfect sense if it's a metallic color.
Reason being, it's near impossible to to color sand and buff a single stage metallic paint job without screwing it up.
I would have said impossible, but I feel someone will come in and say they did it with good results.
I would not attempt it, because it's too easy to go too deep in some areas and end up with a blotchy looking result.
