the 3/4 ton frame rails have a hump over the rear axle, while the 1 ton frame is flat. I believe the gmc designation is 100 for 1/2 ton & 150 for 3/4 ton? but I've never been as familiar with gmc as I'd like to be, so maybe someone else can help us out here.
