Burgie, 1 vote for the I.R. compressor over the campbell h. Much better compressor...get what ya pay for with these things. Had to run 220 for mine....place closer to the box the better and have yet to have a problem. Stay single stage for the home shop. Wired mine myself, had an electrician buddy stop by for an adult beverage and check my work 'cause I did not want to cook anything. Good luck with whichever way you go.
