Some years ago I bought a replacement grill for my 1957 Chevy pickup. It has been a few years since I removed the original one. I now have fiberglass fenders that seem to fit OK (with some wrestling). Now when trial fitting the new grill, the sides have a gap between the grill and fender(near the turn signal area). I remember the grill did not fit really tight there, but this seems excessive. Before I start trimming the fenders, I just wanted to know if there is normally any gap there. Thanks.
