I need to replace my front sheetmetal and am looking for anti squeak material. I have bought several kits from LMC and classic (Chevy Duty) but it doesn't seem to fit. I look in the shop manual and the part that talks about replacing front fenders says to put the anti squeak on the inner-fender first. Now this is in my 1951 shop manual. I don't know if there is suppose to be anti squeak between the front fenders and the lower cowl. When I look at LMC's catalog it doesn't show any anti squeak but between the inner and outer fender. The Steele catalog has nothing for the 51. What is the real truth?
