| | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 67 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 67 | I called off the 1967 el camino rear axle. I had to put a timing belt on my 1996 ford ranger. Oh FYI you can't hurt the four cylinder by breaking the timing belt. I did not know that.
I called a guy in Arizona he got mad at me and asked me I would want cut up a perfectly good truck! I told him that what I understood I needed to do too get the truck on the ground. He's sending me his catalog. He says to change the rear axle gears for highway speeds and keep the torgue tube. What do you think? Thanks again.
