| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 649 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 649 | I've attempted without much success to patch the rear fenders on the burb. Metal at the edge of the fender near bolt holes is to thin to weld. I'm afraid that by the time I get a patch welded in I'll destroy the fender. So was wondering if anyone has fixed thier fenders with POR-15, or some other method, and how did it work? Maybe even fiberglass patches? My fenders look good except for two areas along the edge. Looking forward to any suggestions, thanks.
Decided to go with POR-15 "Resto-GRIP" body filler.
