depends on what you want to do with the truck........good hiway gear....had a 2:73 in my 52 truck with a five speed and 235 engine. ok for me because I did not haul or have any big mountains.. I have a 350 with a muncie four speed and 2:73 gear in my 52 sedan, works great for me and I get 20 plus on the hiway at 70 and above..
