Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 | I bought the kit off ebay many years ago. I installed it on the 55 2nd. That truck had the column shift. The back up lights were the same as on the early 50s cars. I made some brackets and installed them just above the rear lights. It worked well.
This kit also had the set up for a 4 speed floor shift transmission. I have purchased the plunger for this set up and plan to have back up lights on my 48. I will make the same brackets and install backup lights from an early 50s car. This truck will probably stay 6 volt. The 55 2nd was 12 volt.
