Hi guys,I bought this truck mainly because I've been thinking about my Dad a lot lately. He passed quite a while ago and I have a lot of great memories of the two of us restoring a couple of 57 chevy cars I had as a kid. I was looking for a 55-57 chevy car when I found my truck. I don't really care that the bed looks homemade and I was thinking of doing a tribute theme for my Dad. Bob's garage and towing, something like that. Problem is he never owned a garage, so maybe I could do a flatbed delievery truck with a family logo on it. Our family owned a factory back in the day and I remember going there with my Dad as a kid. It was a small business on the verge of going under and my Dad worked there on the weekends to help out.I like the look of the wrecker bed though. I'm going ahead with a frame off retoration with some updates regardless. So that's my story and I'll be happy to read anyones input and ideas. Thanks!
