I've searched the Forums here and just want to be period correct and maintain some originality...I'm considering mounting a Guide B-31 (need to purchase) on rear fender bracket and using a reverse-arm tranny mounted switch (if I can find one) as described in Jim Carter forum. Is this period correct/proper for a '48 Chevy 1/2 ton p.u. 4 speed floor shift?
