For a car, you might want to try
Chevs of the Fotries. i assume that both front and rear mounts are needed . Is the 235 front plate being used? it may need to be drilled to accept the 1946 216 mounts. Also, is the 216 bellhousing being used?
I did not see an illustration in the
Shop Manual , but there are instructions.
